On Saturday, February 20, we held a gathering to celebrate Annemarie's life in the apartment she and Lou had lived in for more than thirty years.
More than 70 of her friends from the San Francisco area and beyond shared this afternoon with us. Michael said a few words and following that a number of friends shared their thoughts about Annemarie's life and contributions, and the effect she had on them and others. The event was a success, as it gave all an opportunity to say good bye to Annemarie one last time, in the place in which many had spent joyous moments with her and Lou.
Am Samstag dem 20. Februar haben sich in Annemaries Wohnung in San Francisco mehr als 70 Freunde getroffen um sich ein letztes Mal zusammen an sie zu erinnern und ihr Leben zu feiern. Michael hat ein paar Worte gesprochen, wonach mehrere Freunde sich zu Wort meldeten um mit allen Erinnerungen an Annemarie und ihr Werk zu teilen. Es war ein gelungener Nachmittag/Abend.
